| April, 1919: Membership increased to 412 members.
April, 1921: Membership increased to 588 members.
April, 1922: American Society of Civil Engineers holds its spring meeting at the Club. Over 600 engineers attended this meeting.
May, 1923: Deeds and Kettering are made Honorary Presidents. The Library Committee reported that 1,400 books were on the library shelves. The Engineers Club worked out a deal with Antioch College that stated Antioch would provide a librarian for the Club.
February, 1924: Charles H. Paul, Club President and Club Historian, received a letter from President Calvin Coolidge, recognizing the 10th anniversary of the Club. Club membership increased to 700 members.
Winter, 1928-29: The West and East Rooms were remodeled and named the "Spanish" and "Italian" rooms.
October-November, 1929: Colonel Deeds and Mr. Kettering turned over to the Club full ownership without any restrictions. Charles H. Paul estimated that the value of the property was $405,000. Membership of the Club reaches its peak at 837 members.
1936: During the early 1930's, membership dropped to 600 members. The Club survived the Great Depression and membership increased to 757 members. |
